Announcement

Why we publish every outage, including the embarrassing ones

A permanent, unedited incident archive going back to 2019 is now public. Trust is a record, not a claim.

Every bank's marketing site claims reliability. Very few will show you the receipts. Our full incident history, including root cause analyses we would rather not have written, is now permanently public.

The archive covers 47 incidents since 2019. Four were severity one. Each entry contains the detection time, the customer impact, the root cause and the remediation, published within five working days of resolution.

We do this for two reasons. Internally, a public post-mortem is a forcing function against comfortable explanations. Externally, you deserve to judge our reliability on evidence rather than adjectives.

Our trailing twelve-month availability for core banking is 99.987%. The gap between that and four nines is roughly seventy minutes a year, and we intend to publish exactly where every one of those minutes went.
