How pricing works

Four numbers, and nothing behind them

Every currency conversion at Nordhaven is built from the same four components. There is no relationship pricing, no negotiated tier and no weekend markup.

Mid-market base

The midpoint between the buy and sell price on the interbank market, sourced from three independent providers and reconciled every 250 milliseconds.

Published margin

0.28% on major pairs, up to 0.96% on thin emerging-market corridors. Shown in cash terms on the quote, not buried in the rate.

Held quote

Sixty seconds from quote to approval. If the market moves against us in that window, we absorb it — the number you approved is the number that settles.

Transfer fee

From £1.90 for SEPA and SWIFT payments, £0 for internal transfers between your own Nordhaven currency balances.
